My son started riding a dirtbike at the age of 5. I could see early on that he had a natural ability to ride a dirtbike, and a huge love for the sport. We rode and raced and had a lot of fun. Going to the races, the first thing I noticed was a lot of people, parents would yell, wave their hands, telling the young riders to go faster, stand up, etc. This really made no sense to me. I learned in a small one day clinic, these very basic fundamentals, and realized, I need a way to reiterate these to my son, without stopping him, yelling at him, or doing funky hand signals. Kids learn visually, and if they are diciplined enough to practice these fundamentals, speed will follow. Most important, practicing these will help keep them safe. More bike control, equals safer riding. So the FUNdamental Pit Board was born!
